Juvenile Defense Attorney | Author | Mitigation Expert
For as long as I can recall I have had a passion for working with and helping youth vulnerable to the juvenile court systems. What began as an interest in teaching youth in school settings quickly turned into getting my graduate degrees in the field of social work and the law. California Western School of Law together with San Diego State University had the perfect dual degree program for me to pursue my tremendous interest in working with youth and their families. The experiences I gained through that program both in the classroom as well as in several internships with the San Diego Public Defenders offices juvenile division, dependency division and adult criminal division together with volunteer work with the California Innocence Project - I was able to bring the two invaluable degrees together and that has shaped my career for close to 15 years.
